Roxas Holdings, Inc. (RHI), a sugar and energy company, is the largest integrated sugar business and the biggest ethanol producer in the Philippines. At the forefront of the Philippine sugar and ethanol industries, it is a trusted brand recognized for its contributions and legacy in the areas of sugar and bio-ethanol production.

With a history that is close to a century, RHI owns and operates the largest milling operations in the Philippines as well as the second largest sugar refiner, and two of country’s pioneering bioethanol plants. Together, the complementary locations of the sugar mills and ethanol plants enable RHI to serve customers throughout the Philippines.

It manages four subsidiaries, namely: Central Azucarera Don Pedro, Inc.(CADPI) in Nasugbu, Batangas; Central Azucarera de la Carlota, Inc. (CACI), in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental; Roxol Bioenergy Corporation (RBC), also in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental; and San Carlos Bioenergy, Inc. (SCBI) in San Carlos, Negros Occidental. The Group also has 45% stake in Hawaiian-Philippine Co., another sugar mill based in Silay, Negros Occidental.

Over the years, RHI has developed solid relationships with high quality, tier-1 customers. Through its excellent level of service, reliability, and quality products, RHI has established a longterm relationship with its customers, which include multinational food and beverage, and pharmaceutical companies. Most of these customer relationships have been in place for as long as 15 years, with some companies sourcing sugar from RHI since its inception. Furthermore, with its wide network of customers, the Group enjoys customer diversification and is not reliant on only a select group of clients.


Company History (Milestones)

1927 Established as a sugar milling company in Nasugbu, Batangas, and was then known as Central Azucarera Don Pedro.
1994 The Group embarked on an expansion and modernization program which enabled RHI to become an integrated sugar manufacturing company with a refinery.
1998 It acquired majority ownership of Central Azucarera de la Carlota, Inc. (CACI).
2002 The company commenced a corporate reorganization program to transform itself into a holding and investment corporation, resulting in the integration of its sugar businesses under a single subsidiary known as CADP Group Corporation (CADPGC).
2008 The Roxas Group underwent a corporate reorganization that separated its sugar and real estate businesses into two firms listed with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
2011 Roxol Bioenergy Corporation, the bioethanol unit of RHI, ran fully on a commercial basis.
